Hi. My name is Vince, and I'm a producer and engineer. My passion is helping artists make great albums, and i've been fortunate enough to spend the last decade doing that. I'm not really one to talk about myself too much, so I'll let some of the people I've worked with do the talking.

“I’ve had the pleasure of mastering quite a few projects that were produced and/or mixed by Vince Welch. I must emphasize the word “pleasure”, even though a mastering engineer is often expected to remain objective and somewhat separate from the creative aspects of the project at hand. This is impossible for me when working with Vince. His technical standards are as high as any I’ve encountered, but it’s the creative intricacies of his work that engage and fascinate me every time. Vince always seems to see into the essence of the music, sculpting sonic details that may be subtle, or even shocking in the best way possible. “Right from the start, Vince wanted to hear exactly the kind of vision that I had for my mix, and throughout the whole process he was extremely accommodating and attentive in working with me to make that vision a reality. I’m a very picky person and he had no issues going back and forth editing little details and making minute changes to the songs. It seems like Vince is really passionate about using his knowledge to maximize whatever emotion the artist he’s working with wants to evoke, but he’s also creative and offered a number great production ideas in line with the vibe that I wanted that I wouldn’t have thought of otherwise. Most importantly it felt like Vince was working with me on my music more than working ‘for me’ or ‘on it’. As creative types, I think that the most vital thing to look for in a mixer is someone who can absorb your creative vision and attack it with the same passion that you would as an artist if you had their knowledge and abilities. That is exactly the impression that I got from Vince while having him mix my band’s album and should we require another great mixing job he’ll be the first person that comes to mind.”
